Dates of Action: January 8-10, 2012

Description of Artwork: Oil painting of female nude

The Incident: Microsoft Skydrive froze UK blogger Michael Ohajuru's storage account frozen because Modigliani's picture of "Reclining Nude" violated Microsoft's Code of Conduct which prohibits images that "depict nudity of any sort.”

Results of Incident: Ohajuru removed the prohibited image from his SkyDrive account, and replaced with a censored version of the image, detailing the censorship struggles Amedeo Modigliani faced when his image was introduced to the art world in 1917.
