Description of Artwork: Re-Code.com was a web site that allowed users to enter information about products they purchased into a database that was then publicly searchable. A step-through visual guide and a commercial that dramatized the act of switching UPC bar codes were shown on the site.

The Incident: The project caught the attention of Kellog's, Wal Mart, and Price Chopper for it's fair use of their products and stores. Wal Mart's attorney was threatening with a law suit if the website was not pulled down.

Results of Incident: The original website was pulled down.
