Description of Artwork: The play featured letters from soldiers in the Iraq war.

The Incident: Drama teacher Bonnie Dickson asked the students in the drama class to create a play about the Iraq war. Once the project was completed and to be performed, Principal Tim Canty ordered that the play not proceed, as its content was too inflammatory.

Results of Incident: The administration offered to work with the students to emend the play such that it assuaged their concerns, but there has been no report of the play continuing on.
