Description of Artwork: A show of photographer Nan Goldin's work, including her "Ballad of Sexual Dependency" (1981-1996), a slideshow chronicling the struggle for intimacy and understanding between friends and lovers collectively described by Goldin as her "tribe."

The Incident: Oi Futuro Flamengo museum reportedly scrapped the show, set for January, 2012, after deciding some of the pictures -- many of which depicted sexual situations, drug use, or children -- were inappropriate.

Results of Incident: Several Brazilian artists came out in support of Goldin, and Rio's Museum of Modern Art (MAM-Rio) agreed to host the exhibition instead from February 11 to April 8, 2012.
