Description of Artwork: All of his work was censored, but specifically Guia Espiritual (Spiritual Guide) and Defensa de la Contemplacion (Defense of Contemplation).

The Incident: After ten years of his works' circulation, he was accused of spiritually manipulating the Catholic doctrine. His mystical theories on the contemplation of man were unacceptable.

Results of Incident: The diffusion of his work was not greatly affected, despite his censorship.
