Description of Artwork: Public Student-led Prayer
The Incident: Sandy Garrett, state superintendent of Education of Oklahoma sent a letter to Public School Administators prohibiting prayer at sporting events, and High School graduations.
Results of Incident: Christian students protested the ban at many schools. One incident occurred where a prayer was led over a loudspeaker without the school's authorization. Other schools' administrations have chose to ignore the ban on prayer.
