The Incident: Inability to get published in Spain while Franco ruled. Censorship of all Boixados' works.

Results of Incident: Boixados was a finalist for the Nadal prize in 1944. She left Spain in 1949 and lived in the United States where she was a college professor. She continued to publish novels until her recent death.
