Description of Artwork: Photographs showing human rights abuses in East Timor by Indonesian forces, some included images of the 1991 Dili Massacre.
The Incident: Approval was given for this exhibit to be displayed in the foyer of the Australian House of Parliament. During its installation in March of 1997, some members of the Australian Parliament ordered the photograph's removal.
Results of Incident: The photographs were removed from the exhibit.
