Description of Artwork: A reworking of Michelangelo's "Creation of Man" in mural form; included in this reproduction is a depiction of a nude Eve.

The Incident: A Macomb County judge ordered the artist to cover Eve's bare chest or else his mural could be punishable. Roseville ordinances prohibit such nudity; The mural also violates zoning ordinances.

Results of Incident: Subsequently, Stross covered up the breasts with a black cloth. The ACLU filed an emergency motion to keep Stross out of jail, for time spent in jail was one of the punishable consequences of having such a mural.
