Description of Artwork: "Robopocalypse" is a novel set in the near future, in which robots become sentient and rebel against humankind.

The Incident: Parents of 9th graders in the Knoxville school system objected to some profanity in "Robopocalypse" and asked for its removal from summer reading lists.

Results of Incident: NCAC sent a letter urging the Knoxville Board of Education to retain the book on summer curriculum. In accordance with the letter, the book was kept.
