Description of Artwork: The rap album, As Nasty as They Wanna Be, by the group 2 Live Crew considered obscene by the state of Florida.

The Incident: The owner of a Florida record store was convicted of obscenity charges for selling a recording by the rap group 2 Live Crew that had been declared obscene by a Federal judge. Members of the group Luther Campbell, Chris Wongwon and Mark Ross were also arrested following a performance in Hollywood, Florida and charged with obscene conduct.

Results of Incident: The record store owner and members of the group faced the possibility of a year in jail and a $1,000 fine for the misdemeanor offenses.
