Description of Artwork: Mi Sto Ni is a novel which portrays Jesus Christ as a philanderer who finds it hard to resist Mary Magdalene. The book seeks to explore the theme of misogyny. Its opponents have taken particular exception to passages that allude to Jesus's simmering sexual desires.

The Incident: The Greek Orthodox Church believes this book is "blasphemous" and "obscene".

Results of Incident: They burned the book publicly and banned its sale.
