Durante tres dias se produjeron protestas en 30 ciudades diferentes. Estos alzamientos se saldaron con 102 muertos, 400 heridos y 5,000 detenidos. Radio Popular fue cerrada durante los siguientes cinco meses, pues resultaba peligroso que se dotase de informacion no manipulada a la poblacion. Ademas de cerrar Radio Popular, las emisoras estatales estuvieron dos dias seguidos, sin parar un solo minuto, emitiendo sus programas. For three days there were protests in 30 different cities. These upheavals resulted in 102 deaths, 400 wounded and 5,000 arrested.
